Certified Public Accountant (ACPA / FCPA)
Students who have successfully completed the CPA Programme having a membership in any IFAC Member body will be eligible for the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Certification.
Fellow members of any IFAC Member body can apply for the FCPA designation.
ICAB / ICMAB & ICSB Members:
Members in good standing of the following accounting / professional bodies can apply for the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification after passing Part IV - Professional Integrity Module only:
- Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB)
- Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB)
- Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh (ICSB)
Fellow members of the above institutes can apply for the FCPA designation.
Overseas applicants can apply for the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification after passing Part I Post Graduate Diploma in Public Accounting and Part IV - Professional Integrity Module only.
Renewal of Certification
Certified individuals have to renew their certificate annually (calendar year) by confirming their Professional Integrity, CPD and the membership with good standing of an IFAC member body.
Certified Public Accountants of CPA Bangladesh do not have statutory audit right in Bangladesh.
